Racha Island One Day Trip by Speedboat 

 

The Racha (or Raya) Islands lying about 20kms south of Phuket, the Racha Islands comprise two islands, Koh Racha Yai and Koh Racha Noi. To confuse matters they are also known as Koh Raya Yai and Koh Raya Noi (Yai means “big” in Thai and as you may have already guessed, Noi  means “little”).

 

   The islands possess crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches. They are very popular with divers and snorkelers, with challenging dive sites for advanced divers as well as plenty for beginners and snorkelers.

 

    Racha Yai reveals itself in splendid fashion, with most arrivals landing onto a strip of fine white sand tucked deep into the long, U-shaped main bay, called Ao Tawan Tok or Ao Bungalow. The water here is clear and perfect for snorkeling. The other large bay, Ao Siam, is a pretty place where lonely strolls in solitude are possible.

 

    Racha Noi is uninhabited and has no services or accommodation, but there's some great diving in the area.

 

Itinerary 

08:30-09:30 Land transfer by minibus to Chalong Pier.

11:00                Departure to Racha Yai Island by Speedboat.                                               Arrive at Racha Island ( Patok or Ter bay depeding on                               the season) Snorkeling, swimming or simply relaxing at                             Patok or Ter Bay.

                          Lunch at Sa-biang restaurant, Ban Raya Resort and                                 Spa. After lunch you have leisure time to enjoy                                           snorkeling with the colorful coral reefs and variety of                                 Marine life at "Kon Kare Bay" the best snorkeling point                             of Racha Yai Island.

                          Return to Patok Bay one more hour to relax on the                                   sparking sands of the white crescent beach to enjoy                                   your beautiful surroundings. Take a dip in the crystal                                 clear water, go for a stroll along the pristine white sandy                           beach.

                          Departure from Racha Yai Island to Chalong Pier.

17:00                Arrived at Chalong Pier  and transfer backto your hotel.
